Shawamus Chief Park in Squamish, is a long 3 hours hike with a spectacular view of Howe Sound at the top. There was a lot of climbing on all fours and cursing along the way but it was worth it. Going down wasn't as easy and almost outright dangerous, thank goodness we made it home safe and sound after a few tumbles.
They even had a sign to warn us that this trail was NOT a walk in the park... clearly we had to go see it for ourselves.
This was our first obstacle, on top of this rock are the stairways to the trail up the Chief... we should of known from then on that it was going to be tough.
This is the type of rocky terrain we had to go through, climbing, ducking and shimmying pass rocks and trees all the way up.
Look at the view that greeted us up at the very top.
