Winnipeg

Across the Louis Riel Promenade from Downtown Winnipeg is Winnipeg's French Quarter Saint Boniface. I spent my first evening at the Franco-Manitobain Cultural centre for a classy evening of jazz and wine.

The next evening I spent some time down at the Forks.

This Fenton Weather stone can predict the weather! and guarantees 100% accuracy.
Shadow on the North Side - Sunny
Swinging - Windy
Snow on the stone - Snowing
Wet on top - Raining
Expanding - You've been in the sun too long
Contracting - Cold
Shrouded by fog - Foggy
Fuzzy - Walk don't drive

Just another angle
As you may have heard on the news about people in Manitoba evacuating their communities due to the floods, the Assiboine River is flood prone
You mean path doesn't just lead you into the water?
